Meet our Corporate Team

Allen McClimon is the President / Co-owner with his wife Dina Maru (Co-owner / Vice-President) of A1A Surveying, Inc founded in 2017.

Allen has been working in the Professional Land Surveying & Mapping profession for over 33 yrs including prior leader and ownership roles. He has work on many projects throughout the State of Florida. Projects have included, but not limited to: (Boundary, Topographic, Tree Location, Sketch & Legals, Construction (Residential & Commercial) & Subdivision Platting) along with client liaison.

Allen is applying all the experience he has learned from previous professional surveyors he had worked under and alongside with to help co-create along with the help of an amazing team in providing an efficient, professional service for the company’s clients.

Dina Maru has over 20 years of leadership and management experience in the financial and insurance industry.  She successfully ran an independent financial office for a multimillion-dollar company for many years before venturing out on her own to develop her own business and expand into the insurance field.  Her strong ability in human resources which included new hire development, employee mediation, client retention and conflict resolution led her to become an owner and partner for A1A Surveying.  Since her tenure at A1A Surveying beginning in 2012, and working together with the corporate team, the company has grown exponentially in serving its mission to becoming the highest reputable leader in the Land Surveying profession. 

Shawn Kleotzer is a surveyor-in-training who obtained a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from SUNY Brockport University in 2005 and completed the Geomatics Certificate Program from the University of Florida in 2020. 

After a successful career in multi-unit retail management over a 12 year period, Shawn joined A1A Surveying in 2017 and began overseeing the daily business operations, team member engagement, client relations, and survey quality and control for A1A Surveying.  Shawn currently serves as Vice President of Operations and is studying to take the NCEES and PS exams to become a licensed professional surveyor in late 2022.

Keith Brien currently serves as Quality Control Project Manager with A1A Surveying Inc. with 20+ years of experience in the field of Land Surveying.  Keith served as a Survey Technical Engineer and Combat Engineer with the US Army from 1998 to 2010 in both active duty and reserves.  He has worked as a CADD technician with Calvin Giordano and Associates from 2004 to 2012 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. and a Senior CADD Technician for Avirom & Associates Inc. in Boca Raton, Fl. from 2012 to 2020 before joining the A1A Surveying Inc. team.

Dave McMillian started in 1985 and has more than 35 years' of experience and enjoyment as a Land Surveyor. More than 18 years as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper. Florida Licensed in 2002. Dave believes in preserving and supporting the balance between exceeding client’s expectations while utilizing the talents of our field crews and office staff. Striving to be smarter, work harder and make decisions quicker than competitors.  

Scott Arena serves as Accounting/Bookkeeping and Business Administration support for A1A Surveying, Inc with 30+ years of experience in this field.
